NEW: Food tour with a difference, in Kreuzkölln

In small groups of a maximum of 10 people, we will introduce you to our highlights of West and East African restaurants in Kreuzberg and Neukölln. We will also question typical German products and food. Have you ever wondered how German our favorite dishes really are? Well then it's about time! In addition to tasty snacks, we'll be looking at the influence of Asia in German cuisine. Yummy! The tour is designed to replace a meal for people with average appetites.

We start our culinary journey with a small appetizer at Sahara Imbiss. The Arab influence in Sudan is profound and has developed over many centuries. This influence is reflected in various areas, including language, religion, culture, politics and social structures. However, the British have also left a lasting mark on Sudan. Both politically and in terms of agriculture and food culture. The name of the next restaurant and the dishes have their origins in historical Abyssinia, today's Ethiopia. Together we explore how Ethiopia still shapes German life today. In fact, one of our favorite drinks is originally from this diverse country. Be curious! We won't reveal our next stop just yet, but it's all about German cuisine and the global influence of one of our most popular dishes. The last restaurant on our tour is Di Di Pa, a small but fine restaurant serving West African cuisine. You'll definitely be full by the end of our tour.
