Justice Mvemba

she/her

Justice Mvemba is an entrepreneur, educational speaker and co-creator of decolonial perspectives in the public space.

About Justice

In her work with deSta - Decolonial city tour she combines political education, personal experiences and socio-critical analyses to create lively, resistant city tours through colonial continuities.

Mvemba is committed to a critical examination of the colonial legacy in Berlin - not only in the form of street names and monuments, but also in institutional structures and everyday thought patterns. In doing so, she brings in a Black feminist perspective that is often suppressed or marginalized.

As the founder of deSta, she is committed to empowering, intersectional educational work that breaks the silence about colonial violence and its after-effects. Her guided tours are not just walks through the city - they are interventions in public space and invitations to think further.

She also brings these perspectives to her Lunch & Learns and Workshops formats that create space for shared learning, critical reflection and a collective examination of power relations. Using interactive methods, in-depth knowledge and experience-based impulses, it opens up access to complex topics and promotes dialogues that can sensitize, irritate and transform.
